New CD GRAVITY

The long-awaited cd, "GRAVITY" is finally done and will be released on May 10, 2008. I am now taking PRE-SALE ORDERS. This album consists mostly of vocal songs and marks my debut as a singer. This is a departure from my typical instrumental records that I have done in the past. Of course I had to throw in 3 instrumental songs on there. This new album features amazing musicianship from guest players, heavy guitars riffs, lots of shredding licks that shredders will hopefully appreciate, catchy vocal hooks and most of all kick-ass rock songs.

This album was created with the help of several of my friends that are very well known musicians such as; Mark Zonder (drummer from Slavior & Fates Warning), Ron Wikso (drummer from Gregg Rolie, David Lee Roth, Richie Sambora), Wade Biery (bassist for STILL, Leanne Rimes & Christopher Cross), Erik Eldenius (drummer for Low Millions, Billy Idol, Jackson Browne) and John Cardoso (drummer for East of West and most of my previous recordings).

My friend and my high school band singer, James Havens, uploaded a video of our band "Cassandra" from the 1988 Battle of the Bands in Japan. We took 1st place that year. This is the encore performace after we received our trophies.

Several months ago I had the opportunity to work with a great techno/dance music singer songwriter, ILONA EUROPA.

I arranged a song titled "Running" and played all of the instruments. All of the tracks were cut in my studio then we went to Blue Moon Studios in Agoura Hills, CA to cut her vocals tracks. I had the opportunity to work with Ilona's husband Jonathan Todd who manages Mick Fleetwood, David Arkenstone and several other artists signed to his management company Sabre Entertainment. Jonathan is also a producer and we both had fun working on this session.

The Just Plain Folks Music Awards are entirely volunteer run but are already the largest and most diverse music awards of any kind in the world. Some of you reading this may not be familiar with JPF because a representative or manager entered your music on your behalf. JPF is a 40,000+ member grassroots music organization for artists, songwriters and industry professionals, focused on networking, education, support and the inspiration of our community peers. We're completely free and 100% volunteer run. We started in 1998 with 60 members and have grown to become one of the largest music organizations in the world. We welcome all genres of music, all levels of experience and if you scroll through the categories you'll see we leave practically no stone unturned. Our primary directive to all judges in every round is "Does It Move You?" All music is blind screened and judged solely on it's own merit. Every song and album is listened to throughout each of the 6 rounds it went through to get nominated (Yes, that's a LOT of screening!). The folks nominated this year obviously moved a lot of people!
